Welcome to Aquadiction, a website and marketplace dedicated to providing information, images, and services related to aquarium fish, snails, shrimp, and aquatic plants ("Services"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Aquadiction.world ("we," "us," "our").

By using our website or Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. Payment Processing

Aquadiction acts as a marketplace but does not directly handle payments. All transactions are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal.

• Merchant Accounts: Sellers must connect a valid Stripe and/or PayPal merchant account. We store your Merchant ID only.
• Fees: Platform, payout, and processing fees may apply. These are shown clearly at checkout and are deducted automatically.
• Payouts: Payout schedules and timelines are determined by Stripe or PayPal policies.
• Disputes: Refunds and chargebacks are handled through Stripe or PayPal directly. You must cooperate with those providers.
• Data Sharing: We do not share more than your Merchant ID with our payment providers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Important: Aquadiction is a neutral marketplace platform and is not a party to any transaction between buyer and seller. We do not hold funds or handle payments directly. All disputes regarding payments, refunds, chargebacks, or order fulfilment must be addressed between the buyer, seller, and the payment provider (Stripe or PayPal). We do not mediate disputes or issue refunds ourselves. However, we may review reported cases of abuse, fraud, or misconduct, and take platform-level actions such as suspending accounts or removing listings at our discretion.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on Aquadiction — including text, photos, logos, videos, and code — is owned by us or used under proper licences. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, scrape, or use any material from our website without prior written permission.

We strictly prohibit the use of any part of this website — including data or images — for training AI models, data scraping, or machine learning purposes.

3. User Conduct & Bans

By using Aquadiction, you agree to act responsibly. We reserve the right to immediately ban or suspend any account found to be:

• Sending abusive or threatening messages
• Misusing listings or creating misleading shop profiles
• Attempting to avoid fees through dishonest tactics
• Engaging in scraping, automation, or spamming

Sellers must not:

• List items with low product prices and inflated postage costs to avoid platform fees
• Set their tax rate higher than the legally allowed rate in their country

Violations may result in permanent removal from the platform and forfeiture of earnings pending dispute review.

4. Shops & Feedback System

Our feedback system exists to protect buyers. Users may leave honest reviews after verified purchases.

If a shop has a disproportionately high number of negative reviews relative to positive feedback, we reserve the right to investigate and may remove the shop from the platform if deemed harmful to the buyer experience.

5. User-Generated Content

If you post or upload content to our website (e.g., reviews, comments, shop profiles), you grant Aquadiction a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, modify, publish, and share that content. You confirm that you own or have permission to share any content you upload.

6. Copyright and Third-Party Content

Users and shops may only upload or post content (including but not limited to images, text, product descriptions, or logos) that they have created themselves or have obtained the legal right to use.

You agree not to upload any copyrighted content, trademarks, or proprietary material owned by another person or organisation unless you have clear written permission or the content is licensed for such use.

By uploading content to Aquadiction, you confirm that:

• You hold all necessary rights or licences to publish the content;
• The content does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights;
• You will indemnify and hold harmless Aquadiction from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from content you upload that violates intellectual property laws.

We reserve the right to remove any content that appears to infringe intellectual property rights and to suspend or terminate user or shop accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.

6a. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

To maintain a safe, lawful, and respectful marketplace, Aquadiction prohibits the following items and behaviours. Sellers who violate these rules may have their listings removed, accounts suspended, or funds withheld, depending on the severity of the breach.

Prohibited Items

• Non aquarium and fishkeeping related material or products
• Illegal, endangered, or protected aquatic species under UK, EU, or international law
• Invasive species restricted by environmental regulations
• Wild-caught livestock from banned regions or without appropriate permits
• Diseased or unhealthy animals
• Unlicensed medications, treatments, or banned chemicals
• Counterfeit or infringing branded products
• Weapons, explosives, adult content, or services unrelated to aquatics

Prohibited Conduct

• Attempting to circumvent platform fees or payment methods
• Posting misleading or fake listings or species names
• Engaging in harassment, abuse, or fraudulent activity
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or evade bans
• Operating outside of local, national, or international laws

Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate action including the removal of listings, account suspension, or permanent bans. We may also report severe violations to relevant authorities.

Reporting Violations

Users can report suspected violations via our contact point< All reports are reviewed and acted on within 48 hours where appropriate.

7. Prohibited Uses

• Scraping or harvesting data of any kind
• Copying or duplicating site content without permission
• Training AI or machine learning models with our site data
• Any illegal, offensive, or harmful behaviour

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time without notice if you breach these Terms or cause harm to other users or the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

We provide our Services “as is” and without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services means you accept the new Terms. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

11. Privacy Policy

Use of our site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will still apply in full.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other notices on the site, form the entire agreement between you and Aquadiction.
